School has been treating me pretty well this semester which explains the increase number of posts :)
Exploring new cafes has been one of the many things that still brings eggcitement to my life. The feeling of discovery when you walk in to the place and wonder if their egg benny is as good as the previous one you had. HAHA
As you might have noticed, good food has been an absolute essential of my life.
Been hearing a lot about Department of Caffeine specifically on my Instagram and so here we are expecting to be blown away by their coffee. (Considering the name)

We went around mid afternoon on a weekend cause we can't climbed out of bed in the morning. :/
The place was still crowded with no doubt people were streaming in and a queue forming at the door. Would suggest to make a reservation if you're planning to brunch at this place. But nevertheless we got on the waiting list and within 10 minutes a table of 2 was ready for us :)
Apparently there's this book store just a couple of shops away from Department of Caffeine so the wait didn't seem long as we were immersed in books.
Ordered an Iced Mocha cause the weather has been blazing in Singapore lately till it suddenly started to rain non stop. I would say that it isn't one of the better Iced Mocha I had, cause the flavour of the coffee wasn't brought out and everything just tasted a bit bland.
Perhaps I should have ordered an Iced Latte instead.
Highly recommended by everyone was the Buttermilk Waffles as it was usually in the Top 10 Waffles to Try List. Well, it didn't disappoint.
Was feeling a little greedy so we ordered the B.O.E. The egg was perfectly cooked but the amount of parma ham was a tat too much. Overall it was okay.
The place and ambience however was a bit disappointing as it was too stuffy, I guess that's the price to pay utilising such a small space with so many tables.
(I had to share my air HAHHA)
